Frequently Asked Questions

At Hershey Paw Doodles, we understand that choosing the right stud for your program is an important decision. This page is designed to answer common questions about our stud services, our process, and what you can expect when working with us. Whether you’re new to breeding or an experienced breeder, our goal is to make the experience clear, simple, and supportive.

Q: What stud is currently available through Hershey Paw Doodles?

A: Our proven Goldendoodle stud, Leo Griffith, is available for approved breeding programs. He is health tested, temperament-approved, and produces beautiful, healthy puppies.

Q: How do I begin the process of booking stud service?

A: Start by filling out our contact form. We’ll review your information and confirm if Leo is the right fit for your program.

Q: What breeds can Leo be paired with?

A: Leo is a Goldendoodle and is an excellent match for Goldendoodles, Poodles, and other doodle breeds.

Q: What if my female does not become pregnant?

A: We provide a guarantee outlined in our contract. If your female does not conceive, we will either offer a repeat breeding at no charge or a partial refund of the stud fee.

Q: When should I contact you about scheduling stud service?

A: We recommend reaching out as soon as your female comes into heat, or even a little before, so we can plan accordingly.

Q: Do you offer shipping?

A: Yes! We offer shipping for stud service. The fee is $175 per shipment, and we send it via FedEx Priority Overnight to ensure it arrives quickly and safely.

Q: Can I pick up locally instead of having semen shipped?

A: Yes! Local pick-up can be arranged if you prefer. Details about scheduling and pick-up procedures will be discussed during your consultation.

Q: Is your stud health tested?

A: Yes. Leo has undergone comprehensive genetic testing through a reputable lab to ensure he is free from common hereditary conditions. We also maintain up-to-date veterinary health checks.

Q: Why is health testing important in breeding?

A: Health testing helps reduce the risk of passing down genetic conditions to puppies. It gives breeders confidence that they are producing litters with a strong foundation for long, healthy lives.

Q: Are there boarding options available for my female dog?

A: Absolutely. We offer on-site boarding for females during the breeding process. Boarding arrangements and rates can be reviewed during the consultation phase so we can tailor them to your needs.
